GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to PrintingForLessCost.com. Please review the following Terms and Conditions governing your use of the PrintingForLessCost.com site. Please note that use of this site constitutes you are bound by and agree to follow these Terms and Conditions. Explicitly, if you violate these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to deny you access to the website.

PRICING AND PAYMENT

All prices and amounts shown on the P4LC Site are in U.S. Dollars (USD). Upon submitting an order for processing, you agree that we may charge your credit card on file for all charges assessed to your order. It is important to note that we require prepayment of every order before we accept an order for processing. Once you have approved a proof we will begin processing your order. We do not allow any changes after you have approved a proof. To that end, delays caused by your failure or delay in approving a proof will be your responsibility.

WARRANTY AND REFUND POLICY

If you find a defect in your job that is our responsibility, we will re-run the order at no additional cost to you. Without delay, to receive the replacement, please notify us within 14 days and provide us with verification and samples of the problem. After all, we are not responsible for any errors that are beyond our control. This includes errors caused by you, delays caused by common carriers, and flaws inherent in the printing process. In the final analysis, if we verify that we caused an error, we will re-run the order. We may also choose to refund all or part of the original cost of the order.

PROOFS, APPROVALS, AND COLOR ACCURACY

Upon receiving your print file, we will provide you with an online, electronic proof (PDF) for your approval. You must remember that electronic proofs are not perfect color reproductions of your printed piece. Color changes resulting from the conversion of RGB or Pantone colors to digital CMYK cannot show transparency or overprint issues. With this in mind, we recommend hard copy proofs if your project is color-critical. Specifically, uncoated paper can affect color and appearance drastically. Hard-copy proofs will have an additional fee.

By the same token, we will not send any job to press, without your approval of any proof. It is your responsibility to approve your proof. You are responsible for any delays in approving a proof. We will reproduce colors from your submitted press-ready electronic files. All computer screens can render color differently. An electronic proof therefore cannot exactly match a printed piece. Please be aware, even different programs on the same computer can make color appear differently. Of course, we will match the color as closely as possible. Only a few RGB and PMS colors can be matched perfectly in the printing process. By placing an order you agree to these limitations. Most importantly, if color is critical you should order a hard-copy proof. A hard-copy proof will accurately color and the ultimate printed product.

ERRORS

P4LC is not responsible for:

• Spelling, grammar, or punctuation
• Incorrect graphics or design elements
• Low resolution images or photographs
• Color transparency issues
• Damaged fonts
• Overprints (printing one color on top of another or “trapping”)
• Improper file setup such as bleeds, crop marks, finished product size, die lines, fold, scores, perforations, page orientation, and page alignment

PRINTING TURNAROUND TIME

Printing turnaround time begins when you approve your proof. To put it another way, printing time starts at 10:00 am Central following proof approval. That is to say, approval after 10AM, production starts the NEXT BUSINESS DAY. Our turnaround obligations are met when we ship your order with a common carrier. If we fail to meet a guaranteed deadline, you will receive a pro-rated refund.

OWNERSHIP OF ARTWORK

You certify that you have the right to use the image(s) in your artwork files. If you do not own the copyright on the art you submit, you certify that you have received permission to use the art from the owner or copyright holder. Specifically, you certify that submitted artwork does not violate any intellectual property rights held by another individual or corporation. It is important to note, if you submit artwork to P4LC, you agree to indemnify and hold P4LC harmless from any and all damages and claims resulting from your order. We restrict the display of nudity for fear that employees or customers may be sensitive to this type of content. Expressly, you accept full legal liability for the content of material processed and printed on your behalf and according to your instructions.

SALES TAX

We charge sales tax on orders shipped to Texas. In the event that you are tax-exempt and wish to avoid being charged sales tax, you must provide us with your tax exemption certificate with your order.  

SHIPPING AND RISK OF LOSS

Please remember that the estimated shipping transit time is based on the number of business days in-transit and does not include weekends, holidays, or the day the package is picked up. Moreover, P4LC’s responsibility is limited to preparing your printing order and submitting it to the carrier for shipping. All risk of loss for damage or delay passes to a common carrier. Please remember, we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO.

YOUR P4LC ACCOUNT

You are responsible for your account and password. Similarly, you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. To this end, P4LC reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in its sole discretion. If you fail to adequately secure your P4LC account and a third party uses your account to cause damage to P4LC or someone else, you agree to indemnify P4LC and hold P4LC harmless from all damages that result.

PRIVACY

By using P4LC and signing into a P4LC account we will not sell, market, or disclose to unrelated third parties any identifying active data (your name, e-mail address, etc.) that you input into the Site.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire Agreement between you and P4LC relating to the subject matter hereof and your use of the website. Furthermore, this Agreement supersedes any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written). P4LC reserves the right to amend or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Overall, no conduct by P4LC is a waiver of P4LC’s legal rights and P4LC will not waive or bar any subsequent action for breach or violation of this Agreement.

LEGAL

If any part of this Agreement is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, it will not affect any other provision of this Agreement. In fact, you must interpret any and all disputes to this Agreement, your use of the website or any other P4LC website in accordance with the laws governed by the State of Texas. You agree that Texas state courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute between you and P4LC.
